  Excellent service, great food, big portions; fair price to value!
  Very clean place and professional polite staff.
  Family friendly and there are a few animals out back to amaze the kids and adults as well; huge couple of Texas longhorn steers.
  So the food; they start you with a cup of famous bean soup. I'm not a big bean fan but tried it cause it's famous  and it was very good. I ordered the 3 meat platter; brisket-ribs-sausage. I thought the sausage was average, ribs were above average with a sweet flavor (Not sure what was proving it, dry rub so it had to be a spice), BRISKET was AMAZING!!!! Sauce was on the side and was very good.
  
  I have been to many other bbq places and they often ask with brisket- what cut? Lean, fatter juicy, or burnt ends. I got the juicy and it was actually juicy melt in your mouth savoring brisket. Next time I am ordering just the brisket!
  
  Definitely save room for the banana cream pudding!
  
  If the sausage would have been above average and if there would have been corn bread with the bean soup, then for sure 5 stars

  I ordered the Poorboy,  the bread tasted old.  The sliced brisket was very dry.   Very disappointed.
  
  Was recommended the potato salad by the waitress who said it was good.    Took one bite.   Nope it was terrible.  
  
  Was offered some pork ribs by my friend who ordered that. And they too had a terrible flavor to it. Meat was stuck to the bone and he had a hard time eating it.

  Great Texas bbq that is a must stop if you're driving though the area! I had to buy a T-shirt that says "I shot the bull".

  I remember so much more when I was young coming to this place. I got the super so I could try 3 meats, well I was surprised. The pork ribs were dry and a bit overcooked, the brisket was dry and not moist at all. I remember the beans being heavenly and they seemed to fall a bit short. The service was great, I was just a little surprised that this would be considered a top 50 bbq in texas.

  We are pretty picky about where we eat but their potatoes with lots of heavenly bbq bliss on them are fabulous. I love their giant spud with all the fixings including delicious meat. You can't go wrong and you won't walk away hungry. It's huge and a great value.
  
  My husband alternates between the potato, bbq sandwiches and sliced meat platter and he's been happy with everything he has gotten. I enjoy their beans as well.
  
  Definitely recommend giving them a try!
